Overview
Within the BORA project, there is a collaboration between the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), the Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH) and the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU). TUHH is involved with two different institutes, so that the project partners are namely the Institute of Modelling and Computation (TUHH/IMB), the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Management (TUHH/GBT), the Institute of Structural Analysis (LUH/ISD), and the Institute of Geosciences (CAU/IfG).
The major subcontractors are the itap GmbH, Novicos GmbH, DMT Gründungstechnik GmbH, GSP mbH, GLÖTZL GmbH, K.U.M. Umwelt- und Meerestechnik Kiel GmbH, and the Embient GmbH (nowadays being part of the Kongsberg Maritime Group) due to their expertise on hydroacoustics, vibrations engineering, pile dynamics, geotechnics and sonar measurements.
Furthermore, there are temporal cooperation partners for each of the three offshore measurement campaigns (OMK 1 to 3).
The BORA project is funded by the the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety due to an act of the German Parliament (project ref. no. 0325421A/B/C) and administered by the Project Management Jülich.
